Besides Maranhão (Jamaica Brasileira), the first Brazilian Reggae & Dub sound systems date back to 2001. Since then, a host of young and talented artists have emerged to produce innovative Reggae music; Frank Luz being one of the talents.

Based in Fortaleza, Ceará, Frank has developed his own style, inspired by the likes of: Horace Andy, Errol Dunkley and Junior Murvin.

During 2019, Alien Dread produced Roots rhythms for Frank to voice, with the help of Top Beat (co-producer), Alvin Davis (horns), Asha B (percussion) & Steven ‘Marley’ Wright (guitar).

This particular CD represents part of the studio output from 2019/2020. So stay tuned for future releases on Iron Sound Records, featuring Frank Luz and other international artists.
